24-105L Flare Service

Link for service info for the new 24-105L IS lens. I'll be picking up one of these at some stage...hopefully it won't have the dreaded flare problem. Bookmarking this link just in case.

Big Hopper

They make 'em fairly large in Gero. This one looks like a small bird as he flies through the air. I managed to get in fairly close with my new Sigma 150/2.8 EX macro before I scared him off.

RSP Colour Profiles

Some colour profiles for Raw Shooter Premium. I have just purchased the Color Engine from www.pixmantec.com. but these still look interesting.

One from ddisoftware for the 5D and a couple from EOSpix for 10D and 20D.

If you're looking for a RAW converter, RSP is an excellent choice. I've checked out Capture one, Breezebrowser, ACR, and DPP. The workflow in RSP is so much better and results are great with the new colour profiles. Even black and white processing is a breeze.

Quality Camera Sales Australia

Best value shop I have seen in Australia. Only a bit more than buying something from a US internet shop.

This page is linked to the sensor cleaning products.

Colour contol panel and RAW viewer for XP

This applet allows better control of ICC colour profiles within Windows XP. I'm told it will allow me to assign a separate profile to each monitor of a dual monitor system - just what I was looking for.

Link here.

While were at it - I'll link in the RAW viewer for XP. This is the new version which supports the 5D...not out just yet.

Update - June 06.
I've installed both. They work well and are really quite useful.

Ducklings at Lake Monger

<br />

Dusted off my camera which has had a long stint in the camera bag during my exams. Well, I'm finally finished studying... will hopefully have time to get out and shoot a bit more now.
